  • Just belled Trump, he says what you worrying about, then dropped a line to the daily mail and they reckon brick up your doors and windows, so I don’t know who to believe

  • Similar boat.

I've decided to stay away from people in work time but have failed to figure out if I'm going to stay in separate rooms to my partner. It's been frustrating for me, can't imagine how annoying it must be trying to figure it out for a kid and family.

  • Ha!

We'vd had enough of experts in this country, so you can just make your own mind up.

  • This one is a Growth, Product and Marketing leader at Course Hero for instance.

Well at least they are immune to imposter syndrome

  • Yeah spotted that too, horrendous grasp of what's going on with the numbers there. I don't think it invalidates the rest of what he's saying, but I'd take the numbers with a saltwater nose-rinse.

  • I guess the nursery fees could be spent on...

Like you'll be able to stop paying nursery fees regardless of how long they shut for.

  • Was extremely excited to have the opportunity to see Lorenz Büffel perform ‘Jonny Däpp‘ this evening in Mayrhofen and Covid-19 has gone and ruined it.

  • Dr John Campbell is worth a watch for proper science

    (Soz if reep)

    Thanks for this.

In his latest post he allows himself a morbid chuckle when he summarises Giacomo Grasselli´s findings in Lombardy: median age of intensive care unit patients with Covid-19 is 65, kids don´t get sick but likely carry the disease up the age cohorts. Grim.

Last night Snow asked Grasselli whether intensivists were having to decide who gets tubed and who dies to which the good doctor essentially replied "we do that all the time anyway".

  • Throwing back to a few days ago, having just returned from a break in Paris can I also say WTF is going on with the dog shit.

  • It is NOT a lazy stereotype to say that large parts of Paris are covered in piss and shit.

  • New York teacher charged $10,382.96 for visiting a hospital to request a test, after returning from Italy and presenting symptoms, and being turned away.

OK, so she only had to pay $75 of it, but gotta love the workings of that US non-healthcare system. How the fuck?

  • So assuming we're on a slightly slower timeline than Italy, how long before we're in nationwide lockdown? A week or two?

  • My work has just split us into two halves. I'm not allowed into the office until the 23rd.

  • Other parts of France are too.
I cant remember if it was Toulouse or Lyon. But the park was awful.

  • she was charged 75 dollars, which is her co-pay which is, presumably, what she would be charged for going to the ER for any reason at all.

  • We are about 13 days behind Italy. They locked down the Milan region about a week ago.

I'm expecting schools to be closed by Wednesday, possibly Monday. I hope the latter.

  • Yes, I know, you posted that as I was already editing to clarify. But that charge on the insurance doesn't go nowhere. It's what makes the system inaccessible to so many.

  • It is NOT a lazy stereotype to say that large parts of Europe are covered in piss and shit.

    FTFY.

In other news, my colleague the other day said to me, “There’s all this stuff on the news about not touching your mouth, nose or eyes right?”

“Yes...” I replied, wondering what was coming next.

“Well, how am I meant to put my contact lenses in in the morning then?”

It had obviously stumped him as he was, rather unusually, wearing his glasses.

  • The only place that's worse is fucking Granada. Lovely place ruined by asimetrci haircut dick heads with dogs.

  • Dr Campbell has got good advice too.
Take vitamin D3 to optimise your immune system.

  • that's not true.

The insurance company and the healthcare provider have an agreed upon reimbursement rate.

The fact is she was charged 75 dollars and the hospital new they were getting ~2 grand for it.

anyway there's a lot (A LOT) more too it and we would love to see a healthcare revolution in the US. We would love it. it's just very complicated and very hard to implement.

  • Have you ever been to Italy?!

  • Paris is piss and shit.

    .

That vijeo´s too long. How much should I take?
