I tried both sizes on. Wish they'd gone from 36mm to 39mm to be honest. Makes it more of a dress watch size and separates it nicely from the divers in the Black Bay range.
I felt the same way about the 58, when you say that you felt it had something missing. Maybe a colour change could sway me.
I asked why the reduction and the gent in the shop seemed to think that being 41mm like many others in the range, movement wise it may be upgraded to in house and potentially thinned down like the 58 but in the 41mm size.
Makes sense I guess but also slightly tempted me more if it's going to be discontinued...
