Recoil is something that definitely needs to be managed with some weapons. Having predictable recoil patterns just means you can learn to control it a lot better. And admittedly some weapon setups are total laser beams.
I watch cdl and quite a few streamers, it's very possible to turn or someone and snap onto them (especially with aim assist)
I think the timing thing and controlling spawns isn't perfect for sure. But the most annoying thing is people sitting in corners picking off very load approaching footsteps
(Which is very much a mp issue)
Watched a few streamers - looks kinda fun and social but mechanics seem very arcadey.
There seems very little skill but more a case of map knowledge/ping/timing. If you hit first, you win. No recoil, just bloom at range to make longer battles tricky. Vehicle movement is mad - like Indiana Jones & The Emporers Tomb (2003) levels of mad. But it's free-ish.
