The GT came with a pair of wheels with Shimano M475 disc hubs, but rimbrake rims. Cones were loose and pitted, but the grease and balls looked new and the bearing surface on the hubs looked good too. I have a pair of wide disc brake rims that'll hopefully be a straight swap - just new nipples for good measure. It seem silly, but new cones are more expensive than new hubs, so I ordered a cheap (4 EUR) Shimano front hub to transplant the cones and balls from. I had a Linus rear wheel with a broken freehub, but good cones that'll sort the rear wheel.
