Anyone in the market for a sweet Look? Got a 595 frameset I was gonna paint for display at work, but I’ve lost motivation. Size large. Includes EPost spacer kit so saddle height can be raised by up to 30mm. Shoot me a PM if interested for specifics.

Centre BB to center saddle rails is 730mm.
Yeas, heel rub to the chainstay - its only worn the paint off though, there is no damage to the carbon, as you can see the there is no wear to the weave in the carbon.
Shoot me a PM for more deets.

Anyone on here with a KG381? Can someone remind me of the largest tyre they’ve been able to fit?
Cheers in advance,
Matt -

I had 25mm on my KG381i.. dont know If there is a difference to the KG381 though..
-
• #2508
No difference as far as I am aware... is 25c the largest you are able to fit do you know?
Cheers! -
• #2509
I did not try to fit anything bigger, but if i remeber correctly, these 25c tyres (Rubino pro) were already a good fit with not much clearance left.

Cheers for the info, I’m considering buying a 381 Team but it does not have a headset installed - anyone know of a headset would fit? The original would have been a cane creek ‘KG’...
Any help appreciated as I might pick it up today and ideally would have some certainty I can find a hs to get it on the road ASAPCheers,

pretty sure all Look’s have their nuances
Pretty sure mine doesn't - 1⅛" straight steerer, IS2 headset, 27.2mm seatpost, BSC 68mm BB shell. By getting a NOS 2007 one in 2009, I even managed to dodge the weird Headfit headset preloader which came on the then current 585s 🙂

Could it be a nuance that amongst the Look line-up all the variables lined up with a general industry standard for a brief moment?
While you’re here, any idea what type of headset I’d be looking for for a 381? I have the crown race and lower sealed bearings - just need the other bearings and a cap... I hope 😬 -
• #2518
just need the other bearing
Probably a TH-873 with matching compression ring, but measure the depth of the rebate in your head tube as the 41mm×36°×45° bearings come in several other heights bigger than 6.5mm, and you want the tallest one which doesn't poke out of the top of the head tube. Upper bearing cover, spacers and top cap are things I can definitely help with 🙂

What size @user106272 ? Price in mind already?

It's a large 56/57 i would need at least £1000 to be tempted to part with it it cost me just over £2000 to build has done about 30 dry miles 100% mint condition and has been hanging on the wall in my dining room for nearly 2 years looking pretty but not getting ridden. Extremely rare built to order from double butted tange champion no 2 plus the the chrome so way nicer than the all yellow tange infinity mass produced frames being sold cheap on wiggle at the moment. The look rep estimated there were only about 300 or so of these made and most of them went to Japan and the States and whilst the frames aren't numbered it is from a limited run and not many about. A Google search only brings up a couple of pictures ot these and none for sale certainly not in the UK. Some people are saying I'm mad to be selling it and others are saying I'm mad to have a bike like that just hanging on a wall. I'm not 100% on selling it i don't desperately need the money but I don't really need the bike. So need my arm twisting a little to sell it I'm not try to start a bidding war just convincing i should sell it or not. Full spec list available if anyone wants to know though 😉

built to order

I'm entirely not sure what you mean? But if you mean an explanation of my use of the term built to order then these frames weren't mass produced and available to buy off the shelf they were made available to purchase for a short period of time on request or special order (not custom) i had to register my interest with my local look dealer then wait to get told the order could be fulfilled then pay a non returnable deposit and wait 2 to 3 months for the frame to arrive. So i believe there are no surplus frames around because of that process. I guess by your avatar you know your looks so if you know any more details about these frames than i do then let me know. Especially if they are super rare and i should keep it because it may go up in value 🤞

I don't know anything about the 364, beyond seeing the Infinity-tubed ones in a few shops.
It sounds like they gauged the interest in doing an extra production run (with a different tubing), and when they got a sufficient number, had them made.
While I take your word they're much nicer than the regular ones, I doubt they'll ever go up in value though. Keep and enjoy. -

Cannondale track aside, has there ever been a bike frame that has gone up in value?
Any updates?
