This makes sense to me , but I think you’d only end up in hospital if you were severely ill, and therefore quite possibly elderly or pre existing conditions.
So if you were in that category you’d probably want to avoid it in the first place.
But if the rest of us had a covid party , then there’s more chance of the susceptible being infected I guess.Are you better off catching it now, then should you get complications, there may be a chance of an available IC bed. Because in a couple of weeks every bed will be taken.

When I was young we had chicken pox parties so that all the kids got it over with*, Covid rave?
*This was 50years ago!
