Oh great hive mind. A question about boiler condensate pipes if I may.
Our condensate pipe currently runs down the outside wall from our 2nd floor flat. For reasons not worth explaining here, we have to remove the pipe.
On the face of it, its a simple job. The boiler is in the bathroom so there are several options for sending the condensate elsewhere.
I'm pretty handy at basic plumbing so more than able to do the grunt work, but I have no idea whether condensate draining is something covered by gas safety regulations.
I suppose what I'm asking in a roundabout way, is whether I can just move the pipe to drain into a waste pipe internally myself or whether its actually something that could be dangerous and I should get a plumber to do it.
