Yeah, I’ve no idea which ones are good. I’ve seen lots of people use wood but that’s harder to keep clean? I only use glass to prepare the chicken stuff once in a while.
Any tips are appreciated! Didn’t mean to be blunt. Although I have a feeling (kitchen) knives aren’t a world I want to look into €€€€

Just use plastic, (https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/legitim-chopping-board-white-90202268/) is what I have, as they used to be 90p and and in the dishwasher to sanitise them.

V nice which one do you use the most. I'm guessing 5th from right and last on left.

I'm hoping there's no metal to metal interface on this image... Always makes me wince when I see those bare metal magnetic knife strip things...

Yeah, me too. I have one that is wooden, with the magnets embedded in it.

Those are great, wish I had wall space in my kitchen for one...

Space saving hack - just embed magnets in the top of a door frame.

Embed them in the wall/ceiling/floor for that edgy, futuristic look...

• #2867
Embed them in people for that London street look

These will be de rigueur sooner than you know it
They are actually very good to use, the white stone has quite a fine edge and works well on wood, the darker stone is great for skinning small mammals.

Nice! I read about an archeologist that had practiced making flint items for 15 plus years and still wasn't as good as your average neanderthal - so hats off.

Since I'm currently working at home, will finally get round to sharpen the kitchen knives... Looking forward to having a sharp cleaver again.

I'm after a knife for using in the garden.
Something that can cut brambles, pruning a little, nothing to heavy duty.Opinel?

Is that a manufacturer's name stamped in the billhook?
Asked as some people use glass or bamboo, which can blunt a knife. Hence asking.
