What time is it? Watches and horology

There is writing at the top of the first pic towards the edge. You need to magnify it to see but I can’t make it out.

A bit of googling reveals it MIGHT be a English silver case made by Joseph Hirst made between 1850 and 1878. I may have got this wrong, any help appreciated.

Don't know any history on the watch brand but the case is silver, assayed in London and dated 1852.

It’s just that I’d love a Tudor diver watch, and was considering the BB58, but apparently it doesn’t have the micro adjustment and I need it.

Any recommendations for a watch, tried on a Tudor Pelagos but didn’t do much for me. Not looking to spend more than a couple of weeks pay, say £7-8k.

The last watch I bought was a Cartier Roadster in 2008

If you don’t want to think about it too hard just get whatever Rolex floats your boat that you can actually buy.
