Looks like we've gone for the same thing! Might trim the top bit down at some point though.

Flies around like no-ones business so might glue a little mass to the bottom edge.

Holy smoke. Quite a flap.
How do you find the sticks pickup off road?
I trimmed mine right back to alleviate this.

Its made of maybe 2-3mm leather so is too light to pick anything stuff up - and because the inside is that slight furriness, it soaks up the water rather than scooping it and dumping onto my feet.
