    If you want to overthink it thoroughly, read the distance selling directive. Technically, you can only inspect a mail order item to the extent that you would be able to do in a physical shop before rejecting it on grounds of changing your mind (i.e. it's not defective)
    On the other hand, Amazon DGIF, it costs them more to argue than it does to just take stuff back.

  • Interesting, thanks - I figured it might play out like that in the real world scenario; the heaving leviathan of poor scruples that is Amazon would collapse on itself and let the zip-ties fall through the cracks.
