Given woefully poor front brake performance I put some new Uber Bike semi-metallic brake pads in and rebled both brakes. Not much change, if anything braking has got worse and the pads are a downgrade.
Whilst bleeding I noticed bubbles forming different spots around the front brake lever, so clearly they need to be sent for rebuilding.
So, either: sell the hope mono mini's and buy some brand new Shimano hydraulics, OR, send the hope's off to HopeHQ and keep fingers crossed it will fix the problem, though this would undoubtedly cost more.
I'm leaning more toward brand new brakes and flogging the Hope's, though it feels like blasphemy.
The amount of time and headache it's taken I'm pretty fed up with second-hand hydraulic brakes >:(
At a bit of a crossroads with the Rock Lobster.
