I am not qualified to pass judgement on anyones engineering capabilities. I do understand that in an ideal world a new fork is best. But just thought it was solution to save what otherwise would be a scrap fork. Do u think its unsafe?
If you have a larger frame, the fork might have the right length steerer for those of us with shorter head tubes.
Probably best to sell on to someone else and get a replacement.
