Run it under a tap and it’ll still be good for the barbecue. Or roll it in some grass and pretend it’s a Norwegian delicacy.

Now you know how I felt when seeing all those wheelie bins blown over in the storms, utter heartbreak.

Meanwhile we are still fiesta-ing for Fallas like the virus doesn’t exist.
A friend said to me that now, even if the govt tried to stop the next two weeks of parties they couldn’t.

Lewisham Tesco was overflowing with big roll this morning. Does feel like there is plenty to be had and the supermarkets are just catching up with demand.

Have re-subscribed to Huel after cancelling some months ago. Work have cancelled all travel unless absolutely totally necessary, talking about potentially closing offices in the next few weeks
Going on mission for bog roll in a bit

Course it's all been redeveloped now. Jeremy Bentham would be turning in his grave. Except that would be even more disturbing to visitors to the Student Centre next door, in which he now sits.

Re: the SOAS squat toilets (further up thread)... think they're still there, probably the second nicest squat toilets I've ever used.
Re: travel bans (up thread)... I'm currently not allowed to enter three of the countries I was meant to be going to in the next few months (USA, Taiwan, HK), and wouldn't be allowed back home if I went to two of the others I had planned (Korea and Japan). Thankfully all refundable.
In more coronavirus specific news, Chinese media now claims the virus didn't originate in China - possibly the first time the CCP has claimed that something doesn't have Chinese origins.

I read that on twitter but thought it was more anti China stuff. Where have they thought it originated from now?
On claiming things originated in China I've seen claimed the maddest one was Hip hop. Apparently started in China. -

Where are they saying it originated?

Feeling smug that I decided to stock up on hand gel a month or so ago.
To be fair, Ive barely been in any shops for a week or so and haven’t been paying attention to stock levels when I have been so I don’t know how bare the shelves are up here.

50 deaths in Italy on Friday alone? Wow...
I was at Costco to fill up the car yesterday, popped into the shop for Dijon and Kewpie but no bog roll to be seen... There must be about thirty palettes of bog roll in that place normally, all stacked taller than me, gone in twenty minutes apparently, there was a queue waiting to get in...
I also bought some frozen barramundi...
