I really want to read these threads... Are they really worth it?

I’d just break the isolation if I ran out of something.
I say get this thing spread and trim the number of baby boomers rattling round in massive houses. This could destroy the Tory vote.

Makes u think... just missed Brexit.

Unless the UK impose marshal law and curfews, I can’t see people self isolating.. the frenzy panic for toilet paper in and around London is quite frankly laughable.. there are several stacks of unread metro’s at East Ham tube Station every evening finally being put to something useful

Ha ha this line of thinking is shit. I know it’s kinda a joke but seriously, no, not even worth joking about.

Both Fortune Magazine and The New York Post confirmed in May of 2016
that Trump listed investments in V.F. Corp. and Thermo Fisher
Scientific. If Trump still maintains these investments, it is a direct
conflict of interest to use a company that he stands to profit from to
conduct coronavirus testing. -

So this thread starts out with fears about global extinction and, in 64 short pages, finds itself discussing theoretical worries about bowel movements.

How about the Roman option of a sponge on a stick?
-
• #1595
Fraught with hazards. The sponge just gets stuck up there if you're not careful.

Early estimates suggest that Mulan’s US opening weekend may still
manage a $90m take, with some crediting coronavirus’s reportedly less
dramatic impact on children as one reason that family films may not
suffer as much as their adult counterparts.https://www.theguardian.com/film/2020/mar/06/cinema-coronavirus-projected-5bn-loss

Those of us in a time zone slightly ahead of yours discussed that on page 9 of this very thread.

Still virtually shut, ballet/opera is shut, no museums, art galleries or theme parks. Lots of people working from home. Some companies operating split locations so if one site goes down and all staff get quarantined they can still function from the other
No food shortages, plenty of bog roll, hand sanitiser and soap starting to reappear on the shelves.
Just realised that if I’m in self quarantine I don’t need bog roll, I can shower after every shit.
