OM-D family is absolutely fantastic!
I have a brand new in box EM5 mk2 that I'm looking to sell.
The stabilisation is especially effective. 1 second photos hand held.

Sure.

Seriously .. it’s so easy to get lost in the specs of these cameras .. I just need to leap in, and at that price it seems excellent

Of course - I'll ping something over at the weekend.

So, my x100t is dead. Needs a 500eur curcuit board replacement.
Can't decide whether to
- Repair it
- Sack it off and upgrade to a v
- See if I can get a xt-3, but that is getting a bit toppy on money
- Something else
- Repair it

Not exactly what you're after, but I'm thinking about selling my RX1 if it's of interest

After spending hrs on reviews I think I’ve narrowed it to either the canon M5 eos or the Sony a 6400 or 6100.
Canon is great value on e-infinity site .
As I’ve no quiver of lenses or brand loyalty I think I’ll end up going for the canon plus kit with maybe a 22mm lens .. still cheaper than the Sony .
The canon does look beginner friendly , if a tad taller , bulkier .
Bulkier worries me I’ll not bother to take it out with me , but neither are tiny with a lens fitted .Any experience of e infinity on here?

I started off with the X100 as I wanted something a bit better (as in, more configurable with a nicer image quality) than my iPhone 4. I then wanted to use different focal lengths, so got an X-Pro1, as I was familiar with how Fuji worked/the menus and so forth.
I've now had every X100 iteration and took the X100V out with me today, and I have an X-Pro3 and an X-T2, with a stack of lenses, mainly primes but a couple of zooms.
So - choose your first camera wisely, as if you follow the same route that I did you'll end up committed to the brand and format that you choose.

You'll be non-plussed to know that all of my kit works, as intended.

If I buy an A7 I'll have a 6000 going spare. I'd sell it for say £200 with the stock lens. All works perfectly apart from the clip holding the battery door closed so I use tape.

Upfront, the manual focus ring doesn't work (turns out to be a common issue), but if you're still interested drop me a PM

I think I will see if I can get a decent X-T2 maybe second hand. Thank you both of you

If I was buying into aps-c mirrorless I'd choose Fuji as they're the only ones who take the format seriously. Sony, Canon and Nikon don't and their lens lineup is small in comparison.
Judging by e-infinity prices for the cameras you mention you're looking at 500-700 sheets ? Second hand an X-E3, X-T2 or X-T20 plus lens of your choice should be in your price range.

How are you finding the X100V?

I like it, I can't say that I have yet noticed the "significant lens upgrade" that people talk about, but I've only just started aiming it at things. I took it out yesterday but really didn't come home with anything that I was happy with, but I'm just getting familiar with the camera again. Too soon to tell, really, but it'll be in the bag tomorrow when I go to Paris for work, and then again on Tuesday when I'm in Copenhagen, which is what I got it for.

You have to push that button on the top right.
Pending price and condition I might be interested in the xPro 1. Could you send me a DM please with some more info / images?
