• back in the downhill game.

With XC geometry? I've had longer, and slacker, wanks than that when I should be going to work.

  • That's the bike from twelve years ago. It was truly revolutionary. Look into it.
They built everything in their front room from the ground up, frame, shock, sealed gearbox drivetrain. Elder Millyard is a bonkers engineer who has built a motorbike with a Dodge Viper V10 engine for shits and giggles in order to reach 250mph. He's got to 207mph currently.
    His son races downhill.
They're using a stock bike currently with a truly amazing proprietary shock they built.
Steve Jones, of Dirt Magazine and now EMBN, had a downhill track in his back yard (I think) called "1:04" as that was the best time the best bikes and best pros could do on it. He jumped on the Millyard rig and beat that time by two seconds. He then found out the frame had 150mm travel. The shock technology is the type used on tanks by the military, provided unreal traction and tracking of the ground.
