Although to be fair, it might've been ironic.

When we are all dying in our beds, ravaged with fever and with no one to care for us as they are all sick as well, we really won’t care about the want of a bog roll. We will die quietly and alone in our own personal pools of excrement.

I am having a good bike life with very little "cycling".
(Either here or golf, but had to go somewhere. :)

IMO most HHSRB's are starting to look the same these days so i'd go for something a little different if you want to stand out. That said, Flite and slammed stem always looks good.

if you can bulk buy during dips and sell at peaks your investment will perform much better then they would otherwise

the forum is now largely just current projects that people chuck a ton of money at, ride for less than 200 miles and then sell in the classifieds to fund an equally ridiculous vanity project.

From my crown jewels collection, we have a beautiful COLNAGO Master Olympic Frameset with goodies.
The art deco is a masterful piece of craftsmanship renowned for Ernesto's frames.Project didn't take off so if no buyers, will keep hanged on the wall as art, but would be even nicer to let someone enjoy the sublime ride of the MASTER.
I have various pieces of gruppo mainly Italian for a single speed fixie setup (freewheeling is prohibited at all times) lol
As said earlier, the MASTER Olympic is a piece of work not only the art deco paintwork together with the frame's GILCO tubing an absolute head-turner. So if no takers, the Master will call it a day from racing and hang on the wall as art!
Fun project for someone to turn it into the most doped fixie to cruise the streets of London once Boris 😷 lockdown is over.

I feel this frame flexes far more where you’d want it to from a compliance perspective. Bumps in the road feel the same as they did on the Talbot, despite the skinnier tyres. The Talbot was built with MAX in a good few places including the chain stays, whereas this is far more forgiving in that area due to its svelte, heavily shaped stays.

The paint is also very very pretty. There is metallic shimmer in the paint, both in the white and Nakagawa pink paint. The white is like a pearlish white that cannot be replicated anywhere else but at Nakagawa in Osaka, Japan. There is just no way to recreate or replicate his pearl white or Nakagawa Pink without sending your Nakagawa bike back to Shigeru Nakagawa in Osaka to get it repainted.

Harsh, but also worrying close to the truth.
