Just checked and got my dates wrong, my appointment isn’t till 20 March so I’ll probably call them tomorrow.
They are always over subscribed, even for a 9am appointment, it’s not usual that you’d have to wait well over an hour as they also deal with all the broken bones etc from A&E the night before...
I have a follow up appointment for my knee at King’s next week that I already rearranged once. I am really not sure if I should go as they have 2 confirmed cases within the hospital and it might suggest they might have other people who are infected but don’t know yet or are just carriers etc.
I am young but I have very bad asthma that isn’t well controlled at the moment and my knee problem isn’t urgent at all as it’s been going on for years.
Last time I saw the surgeon was about 6 months ago and he said if I still have troubles in 6 months time, he’ll send me for an MRI scan and so I kind of know what he’d say in my appointment.
Tempted to call them and explain my worry, do you think they’d give a shit?
Any suggestion?
