• I have a follow up appointment for my knee at King’s next week that I already rearranged once. I am really not sure if I should go as they have 2 confirmed cases within the hospital and it might suggest they might have other people who are infected but don’t know yet or are just carriers etc.

I am young but I have very bad asthma that isn’t well controlled at the moment and my knee problem isn’t urgent at all as it’s been going on for years.

Last time I saw the surgeon was about 6 months ago and he said if I still have troubles in 6 months time, he’ll send me for an MRI scan and so I kind of know what he’d say in my appointment.

Tempted to call them and explain my worry, do you think they’d give a shit?

    Any suggestion?

  • Any suggestion?

If you haven't left it too late for someone else to have your slot, cancel if it makes you worry less.

If it's going to cause dead time their end I'd just get it done, taking the usual precautions.

  • Is the hospital closing for non essential patients?

If you are worried/or concerned, cancel and try to reschedule.
