How do you use a rotating bezel with a digital watch?

About as often as I do with my mechanical watches. One draw back is that you can only adjust it relative to minutes so you can't use it for keeping track of something taking longer than an hour.

Obviously a stopwatch is better for tracking minutes than the bezel but I still find it useful

I was thinking it didn’t make sense without the analogue hands, but now I see the track of dots counting the minutes.
If the watch could be programmed to count hours on that track you could time up to 12 hours.
