Still adjusting my ride positioning at the moment. Hopefully No inline required and I will be fine with the stem and saddle adjustments.

I couldn’t find any 40t+ chainrings. Bought a Miche Primato chainset and a 127mm un55 BB. If the chainset has a 42mm chainline on a 107mm BB, I should get a 52mm on a 127mm BB, no? This should give me a starting point and I’ll swap out the BB with a lighter one when it is all set up.

Maybe, I can't remember whether the 127mm UN55 is symmetric. If it isn't, you've probably gone too far 🙂

From what I can read it is. It’s the closest I can find at lowish cost. I can get a good idea and play from there.

So far with the fresh parts and cabling very crisp and sharpe from the vintage DA. Very impress so far, especially with the combination of the veloflex tyres and latex tubes it roles really nicely.
Hopefully some nice weather this weekend I so can take it to some proper lanes to explore the limits on this bike to report on later.

Is there any one on the forum that knows where i could buy a quill/wedge seat post for a 31.6mm seat tube??? Or is there any on here that could make one?

Sorted new brakes, seat post and derailleur
It’s taken a while but I am really loving this bike.
Frame caused me a bit of a problem as I knew nothing about disc brakes and learnt the hard way. I assumed someone would make FM/IS adaptors and would be easily sourced, turns out they’re not.
Did find some eventually and they’re working out great.

Bike looks great!
Where did you get the adaptors?
I am definitely liking the look of the new setup also! Good choice on the colour.
Make sure to post you progres in the tandem thread!
