Ooohhhhh! Ok, given recent issues ranging from near-missed to mishaps to crashes I think I'll swerve Pegasus. In my naivety, I general (I wonder if others do too) expected all airlines operating within the EU and subject to same/similar aviation legislation and standards to have similar safety records, the main difference being a variation in services available. I see now I'm wrong

February's crash was well covered by UK media. I don't look out for these incidents particularly, but one of our work routes is [was] Pegasus into Sabiha Gokcen Airport.

anyone used Pegasus airways/airlines? Turkish budget airlines with quite frankly odd reviews. I'm looking to save £400+ by driving for 5-6 hours to Cambs area to fly from Stansted using this airline however there's some dodgy reviews abut treating women badly, the pilot not knowing which part of the runway to land on and blood on the tray/table! Thankfully many others say, practical, cheap clean comfortable.
any actual experience looking for Stansted -Izmir specifically
