Not repaired a line as I usually just replace and the cost of the fitting is more than a new line.
For cars or motorbikes, if I have the old line I take it to a hydraulic specialist such as pirtek. Pirtek are expensive but then they can come to you to fix the broken hydraulic line.
I use HEL HELfor brake pipes on motorbikes as they usually have the kit on the shelf and are cheap. For stuff I have to make myself I use Think Automotive as they guys that work there are really helpful.
