Where I find it less than ideal is for fast, aggressive 80km (or less) hilly rides, if I had never ridden great road bikes before on the same roads I would be perfectly happy.
If you want a bike that can take some easy singletrack and gravel and take on ”endurancy” road rides it’s a great choice. If you never plan on running 35s or bigger than the streal would likely be a better choice.
