The ceiling in my loft ensuite is 2.1m which is probably slighter higher than the average (Edwardian/Victorian terrace conversion) that I've seen.
I could have got an extra 50mm or so by dropping the floor but I didn't want a step into the bathroom and there were some concerns about getting a sufficient drop for the soil pipe if we did that.
