Agreed, Powertap or Quarq for £350/400 but I dont want to pay £650 for pedals to look at numbers that much

Yep. I guess there are single sided options for c.£350 which is comparable to stages / 4iii etc so maybe it's not such a difference, but single sided is obviously not as good and quarq etc have double sided (spider based) measurement for not much more
