How tall are you?
Part of the challenge for us is I’m 6’3.
I can’t decide what the minimum dimensions I’d need for a shower cubicle might be.

If you can't extend the roof, then you need to cut into the floor to give you more height.
Should work shouldn't it? Negative shimmed shower tray?

Yes I'd say he could steal an inch or two from the floor without issue.
