Hesitating to write this here as I don't want to fuel the debate again whether it's ok to eat at big shops that also sell meat, but..
..stopped at a McDonald's the other day while on the road, and remembered they actually do a vegan "Royal TS" now (not sure you have this in the UK). Gotta say it was pretty good!
And (sorry, also only for people in Germany) I bought some very nice chocolate at (drugstore) "dm" the other day - it's organic and vegan, and doesn't break the bank.. very tasty!
