Now that I've ridden a Marzocchi Z1 (Fox) and a Rockshox Revelation back to back here's what I noticed
Rev needed another volume spacer and improved the small bump compliance.
Z1 is nice and plush out of the box.
Z1 rides higher due to lower suggested sag.
Z1 is more adjustable, but the range goes from not enough to too much, where as the Rev just has usable range.
Equalising the fork is easier on the Rev.
Sag guage on the Rev is useful.
Air cap and compression dial are nicer on the Z1.
