For Sale: Kona UTE long bike / cargo Frame

  • I've had a lot of fun with this but I've now stripped the parts for other projects and I don't have space for it.

Kona UTE frame only (And back V brake included).

This can really haul stuff and is a great halfway between a cargo bike. Used it to carry tiles for a kitchen, child, weekly shop etc.

Frame is surprisingly light I think and it's really nice to ride.

It does have some holes in the rear deck from the attachment of a bobike kids seat - also for sale if you want that. You'd probably make some kind of super awesome rear deck out of an old longboard / reclaimed plywood tho if you're going to use this for a project I'd imagine.

    £200, Collection from E17 Walthamstow.

  • Hopefull Second dibs if you by any chance would consider posting abroad

  • Third dibs, if postage is an option (within the UK)

  • Will see if anyone wants it who can pick up as I don't want to have to wrap it and take it to a post office. But if there's no interest I'll consider it.

    Cheers

  • What size is the frame? Thanks

  • It's not the size you are looking for... ;)

From reviews I read of the older models:

"Its aluminium, long wheelbase frame has a heavily sloping top-tube
for two reasons. When the bike’s fully laden it’s easier to mount and
dismount, and since there’s only one size available – 18 inches –
there’s enough clearance for a wide range of riders. The Ute fitted our
5ft 5in tester just fine, and once the 350mm seatpost was substituted
    for a 400mm one and the 60mm stem for a 100mm, it fitted our 6ft 1in
    tester pretty well too."

  • Haha thanks dude

  • Now sold and collected.
