I have one of those 'dumbbell spanners'. Used to be very useful to also undo the nuts on my mudguards (otherwise you're already carrying two spanners) and the ones on the chain tensioner, now I suppose the only nuts on the whole bike are the track nuts, so I could in theory switch. It's cheap, cheerful and relatively light though, so why bother. Plus I might need to help someone else with some mudguard with bolts and nuts...
