They'll only need to self-isolate if they have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath when they get back. If they come back healthy they don't need to do anything, unless they're going skiing in one of these places:

Ah alright, cheers. They're going to a different place but not too far from those listed. I doubt the uni is aware of this trip as it's organized by students, so I'll notify them and let them decide what to do with it. Feels a bit fear mongery but not doing anything doesn't sit right with me either.
The past days I’ve found out i touch my face all the fucking time.
I’ve also found out that my study association will be taking a skiing trip to northern Italy next week with no intent to call it off as insurance wouldn’t cover it. Highly doubt they’ll self quarantine for two weeks, so they’re basically putting the entire uni at risk?
