Anyone using J&L BB's? This is tempting me: https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/302328614482

Don't. The bearings are tiny. If you really want one, you can have the one I ordered for free. I'll never use it.

Does anyone have experience of these wheels as a cheaper alternative to Lightbicycle? They have the option of the standard A291/F482/Powerway R14 hubs for around £260. Weight stated at ~1360g and come with year warranty

I've had cheap foamy grips from aliexpress and thought they've been pretty good to be fair. Comfortable.

First of the 5 pairs of various sunnies I ordered about a month ago has showed.... A pair of lairy giro numbers. These ones aint for me (semi comedy present for a pal), but am pretty amazed by the quality TBH. Much better than I was expecting. Came with hard case and 5 alternate lenses. Not bad for $12!
I’ll be happy if the 100% and Oakley ones I ordered for myself are half as good as these.
Fingers crossed they’re not infected with Corona Virus.

I used one to fit Cannondale cranks to a BSA-shelled 29er. The balls ate through the inner race in about 9 months of infrequent use.

Cheers. @danstuff is sending me his so I can try swapping in some better bearings. Well, I say I will swap them, my LBS will.

I'm running a ZTTO branded BB that looks exactly as that one. Mine came with no spacers but was like £4. Ordered 4, they seem to dry quickly (but I went through a lot of deep puddles and salty roads). Apply a good amount of grease over the bearings before installing, seems to do the trick.

Can anyone ID the original saddle this one might be based on?
It’s really really comfortable but the material eats bib shorts so might hunt down the original. Was a surprise as it wasn’t even the saddle I ordered the first time round anyway.

Aspide? Toupe?

Is that a chinese brooks style saddle?

Whatever it resembles superficially, there's no reason to suppose that your arse will be equally happy with the original. There is more to comfort than shape, and Chinese knock-offs rarely, if ever, replicate the mechanical properties.

I’m leaning towards Aspide, cheers!

So many variables, agreed, but it’s a lead

I’ve had a couple of these knock off Aspides and they were really comfy. There were no issues with the material but one has started creaking.

Picked up one of these to work with a mobile phone case with a Garmin mount. So far, comfortably happy with it
