Where did you sell your old stuff? I've got a pair of 24TB G-Tech Studio EVs I want to shift and got no idea where - Jigsaw won't do a buyback. They're 3 or 4 years old and run perfectly, I just want us to shift to SSD (for my sins) so they're surplus to need.

I’m using wd reds.
Backing up the raid hasn’t entered my thoughts. I’m focusing on getting it up and running and hopefully the raid 10 configuration means I can swap out drives when they fall over, keeping the system up and running.Will look into cloud based storage or cheaper external drives as an alternative.

also what drives are you using?
For info I use Western Digital Red which I would strongly recommend. The current set in my NAS have been running for 3+ years. The previous set which I sold when I upgraded my NAS had been running for 6 years continuously.
