• Reluctantly need to move this on. It’s been with me since 1999 and in a store room in Hamburg before that.

It’s an original from 1967, shipped folded prior to the widespread use of cardboard tubes.

I’m not really wanting to sell it, but the new house is all blues and chromes. Not wood and oranges, and it just doesn’t go.

I’m based in Cheshire, so it could be collected or posted, but I guess any prospective buyers and I would need to discuss courier requirements.

Had it appraised post-framing at £1100. I’ve been having £600 in mind, but I guess the live for this is entirely subjective.

I’ll offer it at £350 and see if anyone is interested.

  • Warm oranges against blues sounds ideal. Keep it.

  • @hoefla is right, that is the book definition of complementary colours (see colour wheel). Keep it rather than underprice the sale. Also a bit of fireplace envy going on....

  • P.S: we had a similar problem with a giant movie poster, any good framer should be able to "iron" the creases and mount it to a hard backing without causing damage :)

  • 100% goes. Keep it.

  • The missus wants rid, therefore it’s going. Sadly.

  • Would of had it if it wasn’t for the folds! Good luck man

  • You're mad - it looks amazing against that colour scheme!
