• Prof. Neil Ferguson was on radio 4 this morning saying that chasing specific cases/outbreaks and trying to isolate them like they're doing in northern Italy is probably not that useful because an outbreak like that represents transmission over at least the last month and thousands of people infected. Essentially we'll always be slightly behind the curve, but general public health measures for preventing spread of the disease would be useful.

  • Isn't it all simple stuff like hand washing, cleaning surfaces and staying at home if your unwell. Not the bio suits and quarantine notices that seem to have been all over the papers since yesterday.
