Yeah it was pretty good. SNL also did a pretty good parody of it a few weeks back in their usual cheesy fashion.

Speaking of SNL, enjoying Shrill currently

Schitt's Creek is getting really good again!
-
• #5705
Really? I totally ran out of steam with it before the end of the last series.

Yeah, I also found it was in the doldrums for a bit, but have been enjoying the current season a lot so far..

Your shit trolling is getting even more tedious. Shoo.

Locke & Key. So boringly bad I can't even be bothered to say more about it, other than don't waste your time.

Righteous gemstones is good. Watched a couple of mythic quest too, also decent, both less outright jokes than I was expecting but still good.

Gone for The Stranger and Safe back to back. Quite similar stylistically but preferring Safe atm as a little less is more (in terms of plot lines) I reckon. 6.5/10 for The Stranger.

Coming soon on HBO, David Simon's adaptation of Philip Roth's The Plot Against America

Better Call Saul back for season 5 and so far it's great and can only get better IMO.
Love how the Saul world is slowly moving towards the Breaking Bad timeline. -

I seem to be watching Endeavour. It's the prequel to Morse, set in 60s? Oxford.

Netflix is filming Sandman. As a owner of the first comic book releases I'm happy/uncertain.

Big fan of Simon Stålenhag's artwork. Not sure whether this will do it justice.

"I'm not OK with this" on Netflix. Only 7 episodes and they're shorter than 30 minutes each.
Really good! A touch of supernatural and a great soundtrack

If you start from the very beginning, S1, it's pretty good with some real slow burn character development. I thought the last series had possibly peaked and gone over the top by the end. Will get around to catching up with the latest series this w/e and hopefully I was wrong.

I saw an ep in Oz coz my parentals watch it. It helped that it was the chess playing computer one I guess so it was interesting enough that I started watching it from S1 over here on catch up. I'll watch it all. Once I start something I tend to binge watch all of it regardless of how bad it gets because I want to 'check it off my list of life'. Half way through maybe S4 'Harvest' which is quite interesting in a Hot Fuzz, "this is a local village for local people" kinda vibe.

I got a response from Tim Minchin about Upright which was nice...

Cheer on Netflix is surprisingly brilliant.
Who knew cheerleading was such a thing?
