This has always worked for me... Especially the fucking cruise bit...

yeah - no epidemiological knowledge here, but I imagine you'd have to have everyone in London work at home for a while for this to make a dent.
And then (for a long time) stop people coming in from any country that hadn't done the same, or any country that was still letting travel from other countries that hadn't done the same.... Otherwise they'd just reinfect you
we've heard from Public Health England that should a pandemic happen in the UK its likely to be at the most serious in the summer.
Why is this? More people flying?

The first person to have succumbed to Covid-19 in Greece is doing well, doctors say.
From the Guardian's live updates. Is it just me who finds the sentence a little odd?

Sounded like they were dead.

Probably inevitable that many of us will catch this at some point in the next coming months regardless of all preventative actions. Eat plenty of vitamins and keep in shape.

It's completely cack journalism i'm afraid... almost always reactionary in nature with a sloppy writing style and "is this really a story?" articles.

Good article that, even on the third read.

Not a rumour – Chevron in Westferry Circus.

My friend Chris is one of the Chevron people sent home to self quarantine.
Its all a bit peculiar...should his wife who is a teacher self quarantine too? Should his children?
-

There was a surprisingly good bit on the news last night about self-quarantining. Your friend (let's call him 'Chris') should use a separate bathroom (if possible) and stay in a closed bedroom with food left outside the door for him. Then the rest of the family can live as normal.
Sounds grim and I can see it very much not happening. -

Not a rumour – Chevron in Westferry Circus.
From the article:
Oil giant Chevron has asked 300 staff at a London office to work from home as a precaution against coronavirus.

Well I've just heard the words pandemic, planning, army, M25 in the same sentence so that's totally cool.
-
• #691
If the M25 has caught Covid-19 and become sentient, we are fucked

stay in a closed bedroom
I'll be needing the living room with the xbox, TV and sofa I'm afraid.

Anyone else wonder what Pangolin tastes like? Wonder if it would be better smoked or BBQ'd.

Which school, out of interest...?

Really hope it's caused by pangolins that cause the downfall of the human race. Such great poetic justice.
Scuppered my plans for my boat-based, Nvxivm, obscure Asian animal buffet business plan.
