Dibs the dirt if you split

Also, there is a new and unused (57cm) Time First frameset for a £750 'buy it now' price on Ebay. (Or £700 on their website)

I'm more than happy to clean it before you buy, just not while it is staring at me and I can't ride it....

Done, happy to keep this aside for you 😉

Helpful, thanks....
If you need a 57 then fill your boots, but if you are after a 54/55 with plenty of build and component options that's in London, then please do make an offer..... -

Oh come on. Scarcity of offers of a specific size only works as an argument for a higher price if people actually really really want that specific frameset. Otherwise, there's plenty of options out there that compare well to this type of frame, but don't necessarily cost close to £1k used.

Well other forum users beg to differ, as I've had 3 expressions of interest already. Why bother commenting if you can't say anything constructive?

Good for you, it's still overpriced if you want over £900 for the frameset only.

Did you miss the bit where I said open to offers? Have you ever ridden one? Ever adjusted a Time headset? They are very well engineered machines.

i had that frame in the same size. it rode really well until the day a white van wrote it off in the peak district. the headset is basically an alloy threaded sleeve on the steerer tube around which the threaded headset cap is tightened. basically you can tighten it by hand and can dispense of a steerer bung and top cap.
i am afraid though when it comes to price, i got mine new from a store for 900£ in 2015. -

With respect, I'd argue that what they said was constructive and useful to anyone not to be taken in for poor excuses for overpricing an old used frame that can be bought for a lot less.
There are long established forum norms. People have overpriced before & othe members pointed out cheaper newer and in those instances most people just adjusted their prices accordingly without getting defensive.
You're still free to overprice ridiculously however you want. But ultimately this is a forum, a community, expect for people to chime in when something pops up that is bit off or is priced wrongly. It's helpful for the wider community.
My lovely time frame, forks and headset is for sale, due to illness. I've had it from new (£1900, I have the purchase receipt from Holdsworth in Putney), for about 6 years and it has only covered about 3500km, according to my Garmin. It has always been kept indoors and apart from being in need of a clean, it is in very good condition, just a couple of scuffs on the seat tube which I'll get better pictures of.
I've got the geo somewhere, I think it is a 54 equivalent top tube, 53 ish seat tube. It's a great bike to ride, light and agile. If wanted, I can add carbon seatpost and bars, plus Zero 100 stem (90 or 100). Would rather keep the Campag ultratorque groupset, unless you twist my arm really hard! I have a choice of wheels, if you'd like some, from good to v expensive, tub or clincher, but price is for frameset only.
Collection from Ealing, where I'm happy to help with sizing and fitting, if you need it. Otherwise I could deliver to bank or King's cross/Russell Square, though I'm only in London once a week.
Tell me what I've forgotten and I'll update the listing.
