Radiator pipes.

What are my options for skirting? I thought:
1. Skirting up to the pipes, gaps for the pipes
2. Box in the pipes individually
3. Box in both/bring forward the skirting along the whole wall
None of them sound that satisfactory. Any better ideas?

I'd do the same as your builder. TBF, you'll almost never look/pay attention to skirting behind a big radiator anyways.
