  • Screwed pump on. Pumped tyre. Uncrewed pump. And 4mm on the vavle core outer and valve core came off with pump. Managed to extract that from pump head. However locking nut was then on vavle core and as the cylinder had sheared I could not unscrew it as it was deformed.

    Not sure why this happened. Super weird. Pretty much done with screw on pumps now.

  • Weird indeed. Was the valve aluminium? Brass should be more durable, or the titanium ones by Lindarets.
