Ideally it needs to be something that doesn't involve any plumbing expertise - even decorating is the edge of my limits.
I spoke to our builder yesterday who was here to finish a couple of bits off and he recommended: fit the skirting behind the pipe on the left as it just fits underneath; and butt the skirting up to the pipe on the right as they're about the same height, and then paint the pipe white.
I love the curve but I'm not looking forward to trying to do skirting around it.
