I went to the ATP they curated years ago. Saw them 3 nights in a row, different set every night, none shorter than 2 hours. The slides were good as well.

Checked the maths, it's true if the £20 note is 100μm thick, which is within the normal range for polymer notes. Of course, the eventual bill will be more like doing the same trick with the plastic fifties coming next year...

The numbers are weirdly round, it's not just stacks of 100μm thick notes which fit, you could also paper a strip 100m wide with polymer twenties and £106bn would come to the same 531km length.

Finally a meme derail I can get behind. This ATP was unreal, as was seeing them with DMST at Colchester Arts Centre (an old church) in 2002.

(checks album release dates...) I guess 2001? It was BITD when you could still smoke in gig venues, so my mood may have been informed slightly by an exotic ciggy. I think I remember some of the percussion section walking amongst the audience? I caught a brief word after the gig with Norsola, the cellist. She was lovely. Still one of my all-time best gig experiences.
