Spending on my Pomp is going on hold for a while anyway, I just looked at what was on my credit card and also ordered a load more tubes from Ceeway.
The tubes might build into something that will make my Pomp somewhat obsolete anyway...

Have you got a photo with 650b setup on Pomp? Thinking of doing it with a surly lht disc fork..

Here's mine with 650B tires.

Is that a 650b pomp? Looks good!

Are there any track cranks that people have found will clear the chainstays on a pompetamine?
-
• #7985
Sweet! Would the rear fit 43mm gravelking sk with a fender?
-
• #7986
Are the chainstays on a pompino and pompetamine the same? I have a pompino and I have omniums on mine, bit tight but they work
-
• #7987
I don't think so: 120mm rear vs 135mm

Quick measuring: Pompetamine Chainstays are ~110mm wide at 185mm from bb
sram omnium is 110mm between crankarms (page 23 in attached pdf)
so no... (or very close)
Edit: but then it seems to work here (with 170mm cranks): https://www.pedalroom.com/bike/on-one-pompetamine-35130

Forgot about that, sorry, brain fart

I had to make the slightest of bevels (less than 1 mm) on my 165 mm Omniums to fit them on my Pompetamine, but no issues after that.

Don´t you have problems with the cranks hitting the stays under flex?
-
• #7992
Not track cranks, but in a v1 pomp the middle ring of a 4700 tiagra triple chainset is absolutely bang on for spacing.

• #7993
Thanks all.
I have a pompino V3 also, and had to have the chainstay dimpled to fit omniums in the past (I've since sold these).
I currently have sram road cranks on both my pomps. They're great except being 110 bcd, so I'm wondering about getting a whole new crankset instead of searching high and low for a 110 bcd 46 or 48t chainring (I know that J&L ones are available on eBay).

I have a v3 size small and omnium fitted fine, i need a spacer to fit an on-one track crank.

Stronglight? Or Surly stainless. And check Spa Cycles and SJS, I'm sure I got a 46t somewhere a while ago
-
• #7996
Nope. Nothing flexes enough for that to happen.
-
• #7997
Not sure. I barely fitted 48mm slick tires. I guess you'd need at least 50 or 52mm fenders to get over the 43mm tires...

New cheapo 47b tyres from Planet X.
So damn comfy.

Do you think the rear would fit with a full mudguard?
That is great, good work.
