Thank you @HarmanMogul. I should have been a bit clearer, I am looking for a 2nd hand purchase. I have researched the brand new replicas by kemper and the Danish firm and at the moment they are outside my budget. I am looking for a used pedersen, any condition.

IMO, unless you find one that's been scrapped, you're unlikely to build a working example for less than what the UK agent charges for a new one: http://www.cyclecareswindon.co.uk/pedersen.html

The project aspect appeals to me, most of the 2nd hand ones on ebay and so on are not cheaper than new as you say. I am really wanting to add my own parts to a frame as the off the shelf bikes aren't to the spec I am looking for. Let's see if this ad gets any responses... fingers crossed!

Hi Hobbs,
What size are you?
I have a smaller framed Pedersen which I am thinking of selling - I am about 1.80m, 32" inside leg, and it is slightly too small for me.
If you're smaller it might work.

Hi David,
I am around 175cm 5'9. Inside leg 29/30". It sounds like it might fit. I will send you a message with my details.
Thanks,

Oddly enough I saw a dapper old gent on one of these this morning, heading north from Camden on Kentish Town Road.

They can be a bit of a mustachioed hipster choice. I'm keen also on partly because I had a severe injury damaging the right side of my body with nerve damage and want less weight/pressure on my arms when cycling. But they do look good too! I'll forgo the tweed and plus fours when cycling though!

This chap was too old to be a hipster. I 'm pretty sure he was indeed mustachioed but the deerstalker hat was surely a retrospective gloss?

Hi
Have you tried the Veteran Cycling Club? Very cheap to join and always DPs and similar for sale in the classified ads in the magazine
The chairman/president (?) - Cally - is an aficionado of bikes of this era -

Thanks for the tip. I have now just joined and see what occurs.
Cheers! -

Cally has his own museum, and rides them all regularly. Some Pedersen riders turn up at his Easter sunday ride in Suffolk.

Found one folks!
Via lfgss, thanks to all!
I am looking for anything from a frame up to a working pedersen bike. Original Dursley (unlikely) to a modern replica and anything in between. USed / Damaged / whatever, not scared by a project!
