That wheelbase is freaking me the fuck out.

I have no idea at all about MTBs, this reminds me of the time in 2011 when I went into BLB asking about Aerospokes. That's how clueless I am. Other than hardtail, lighter for longer distance riding and shimano only (@skinny has spoken so I'll listen) I have no idea where to start.

MTBs are cheap to maintain tho right? I can replace the chainset on my fixie for £50.

my guess is that carbon is jangly on the bones and more expensive. so probably alume-min-num? carbon would be cool though, it might impress other Rival Dads. not steel. do they even make steel mtbs anymore?
