Is it Spring yet?
I now have 2 decent rods with reels, a bivy, bite alarms and modest angling squad so can't wait for the fish to start moving again. Out tomorrow hunting barbel with maggots and spam so get ready for my blank report.
In the summer I'll be in the lake district near Lake Windermere for a few days, so if anyone knows of any decent carp lakes on the way up I'm all ears.
