It was on my Stanton. It doesn’t fit my other bikes, and yes it’s too short for their geo.

Gnarly to the power of rad.
Or something.

You'd have to ask Howard about that sort of thing

one thing I found with the 35mm stem I was using was. that because I have the bars rolled, the steering became negative, obvs never thought to actually check this, but with a 50mm stem it's almost perfectly through the point of axis.

Interesting - I never felt that, or considered it, with the 35mm.

I've used up all my leave 😅, I'll try to swap shifts
-
• #689
I certainly don't feel it these days, I've hardly done any riding through winter

The only badgers I've seen out regularly over winter have been the heroic @youramericanlover and @yakut ( despite his being fairweather )

I’ve been...running
-
• #693
You've changed.
Edit- in hindsight quite a lot of the ride detailed above was spent running, so might have actually been quicker to just run.

running
Give me strength

in the bogs of Essex
Was this on a gravel ride?
Not sure if that's even worse than running

Give me strength
Sorry man

Credit to full mudguards with flaps. Which means I've been mostly on tarmac this winter. Itching to ride nice forest trails again though. But being zen about it, no need to rush things:)

I want to go to Thetford 😭
@Howard was a 35mm stem too short?
