What's the plan? I had 3 of those, including 2 lightly tweaked turbos, close to 300bhp. Flawed but great fun. In fact I bought an Impreza after the first but went back to MR2 as I found the Subaru a little dull in comparison. Same engine as Celica GT4 but a fair bit lighter.

well, original plan was to get the blacktop beams engine in it (i previously got one for my is200). i got all the redtop beams stuff to convert it to transverse mounting (oil pan and internals). i have an e153 gearbox that i wanted to upgrade with the internals of my celica (https://www.lfgss.com/comments/15017842/ ).. itbs from a blacktop 4age ae111... bought a 2.3 miller xedos 9 for the compressor....... :D
but ever since i saw this thing: https://global.yamaha-motor.com/news/2020/0204/ev.html (watch the video as well), i can't get the idea out of my head.
but first, bodywork and a respray.

finally, project mr2 is starting soon.. got one to the body shop for a sill change and took the donor car to the final place of assembly
